Tomek Machański was born on 13th August, 1988 in Katowice. He started playing with drumsticks at the age of 3. When he was 5 he got the first drum kit.
Tomek is a graduate of the Jazz Institute at Music Academy in Katowice in Adam Buczek’s drum class.
He played with many amazing artists, such as: Wojtek Pilichowski, Wojtek Olszak, Kasia Moś, Kasia Kowalska, Natasza Urbańska, Kuba Badach, Igor Herbut, Natalia Lesz, Paweł Tomaszewski, Wojciech Myrczek and many others. He participated in some great jazz festivals around the world like Java Jazz in Indonesia and Klaipeda Jazz Festival in Lithuania.
Tomek is a drum instructor at Music Workshops in Muzyczna Owczarnia and Wojtek Pilichowski’s Creative Workshops.
Tomek is a proud endorser of Pearl, Sabian, Vic Firth, Remo, Roland and Maruszczyk Instruments.
